2. Rinse the cartridge.
3. Refill the cartridge with the new shower filtration media and microfilter.

The Santevia Shower Filter is compatible with the universal standard for shower plumbing in North America and many other countries (Thread size: ½ inch)

No, it does not affect your water pressure. Over time, sediment in your water may collect on the microfilter. If this happens, simply open the cartridge and rinse the microfilter to restore normal flow.
