They are a little pricey but they do make the water taste better if you are on multiplicity water.

One issue: recycling the filter is almost impossible. Otherwise I love the whole system

Recycling the filter is almost impossible. Attempting to get the top off to recycle contents of filter has been a challenge and I have rarely been successful. Otherwise I love it. Ruth Ghio

Hi Ruth, Please try submerging the top of your filter in boiled water for about 30 seconds. Then, using a tea towel, twist the lid counter-clockwise. This will make removing the lid much easier. We are working to make the lid easier to remove. Thank you for your feedback and understanding.

The best. Cannot recommend this product enough. Not only does it last and provide you quality water for months, once you're done you can compost/recycle the filter bead components inside as WELL as the plastic containers that hold them.
